Installing OS/2:Floppy drive support |
The floppy device driver will not load if the floppy drive is not detected at boot up. Therefore, you must boot with the PC110 in the docking station, with the floppy drive attached, if you subsequently will need floppy support and won't want to have to shut down and boot up again.
Thanks to Adam Lambert for this one - change the floppy driver line in your CONFIG.SYS to read
basedev=ibm1flpy.add /a:0 /force:1 /u:0 /f:1.44MB /cl:AT
and your floppy drive will be accessibly whether it was attached or not when you
booted.
