Type: basic

Resets the settings controlled by the basic PS2 commands to factory defaults.

Type: advanced

Resets all CMOS settings to their factory defaults. You should reboot the system immediately after executing this command.

Note that on the first reboot after this has been performed, you will get a 00173 and 00163 POST errors, and be taken into EasySetup to confirm the time and date. This is a normal consequence of this operation, and confirming the current date and time will allow you to reboot and continue working. Note that you may have to redefine settings such as serial port assignments after performing this operation - again a normal consequence.
